Optimizing B.EL.D functionalities to reach a wide range of functions that can reduce the extensive use of pesticides in world region. During this project an online platform and an iOS version of the application where developed.
MedTech allowed us to efficiently equip health practitioners with an individually tailored entrepreneurial toolbox, prepare an convincing business plan to bring our promising healthcare transforming idea from sketch to market.

The project’s goal was to prepate a portable diagnostic device from a prototype to an optimal system able to throughput more than 80 samples per day for screening pesticide residues samples. Project’s results were presented in Greece, China, Egypt and Germany with collaboration with major companies for food safety.

With this project, we will test and develop the first Listeria biosensor in order to allow immediate detection of samples before they hit the market. The offer to demand ratio is extremely low since standard analysis methods for bacteria are usually very slow, delivering a test result within days or even weeks with an additionally high cost per test .
