At a spectacular event attended by the President of the Republic of Cyprus and key decision-makers, entrepreneurs, and business leaders, our CEO, Constantinos Loizou, represented the Association of Cypriot Professionals in Greece. He shared his personal journey as a scientist and his drive to create a solution that ultimately led to the founding of EMBIO Diagnostics.
Reflecting on EMBIO’s growth into a deep-tech company, Mr. Loizou emphasized that technology, people, and shared values can transform challenges into opportunities for growth. “Technology is what drives us forward. Greece and Cyprus have the talent and the ideas. What we need to do is connect the dots, create more use cases, and show the world what we can achieve together,” he noted.
During the panel discussion, “Institutional Bodies, Economy & Entrepreneurship,” moderated by Giannis Seitanidis, Mr. Loizou was joined by Yiannis Voutsinas, president of the Central Union of Chambers of Greece (KEEE); René Scholten, chief financial officer of the INTERAMERICAN Group; Giovanna Giuseli, investment promotion advisor and head of the India desk at Invest Cyprus; and Nayia Morphi, general manager at Nobel Hellas M.A.E.
Under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece and with the support of Enterprise Greece and Invest Cyprus, the forum once again proved that collaboration, innovation, and shared purpose are the foundations of progress.
