As the coordinator of the SCOPEM project, EMBIO Diagnostics is driving innovation at the intersection of the IoT and sustainability with its airbeld™ outdoor technology. This technology transforms buildings into air-purifying systems, helping to create cleaner, smarter cities.  

EMBIO is leading the SCOPEM project, overseeing overall management and communication, developing and adapting the AirBeld™ outdoor sensor for integration into smart building systems, collecting real-time environmental data to evaluate the performance of photocatalytic materials, guiding dissemination and market strategy activities to extend the project’s impact beyond the lab and hosting the pilot demonstration site at its facilities for real-world validation. 

Through the SCOPEM project, EMBIO is leveraging the IoT, materials science, and sustainability to promote more environmentally friendly urban areas. The project CODEVELOP/0824/0328 is implemented under the programme of social cohesion “THALIA 2021-2027” co-funded by the European Union, through Cyprus Research and Innovation Foundation.
