Job Purpose:
The Hardware and electronics Engineers will develop, design and test computer hardware components for computer and electrical systems. His/her duties will include designing and testing computer hardware components, analyzing test data, eliminating errors, modifying existing hardware and designing hardware for other electrical devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing hardware components including circuit boards
- Testing hardware components individually and in tandem with external computer systems.
- Analyzing systems data in order to make changes to the hardware configuration.
- Completing functionality and performance tests on the final product.
- Designing hardware for products.
- Collaborating with software developers to ensure the hardware functions for its intended purpose.
- Assisting manufacturing process of hardware components.
- Control the further processing or delivery of nonconforming products, tests or services until the nonconformities or unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected. (ISO 9001)
- Establish and maintain a system for implementing corrective and preventive actions to eliminate the causes of actual or potential nonconformities and verify the implementation of solutions. (ISO 9001)
- Ensure timely documentation as per quality management procedures (ISO 9001)
- Contribute to the work of a team to achieve goals and meet success criteria at a specified time by project management.
- Respect and maintain as confidential all information or data relating to the Company’s operations and ensure that the disclosure of any such information is not permitted.
- Follow the staff regulations and set an example.
- Any other duties as specified by the immediate supervisor or relevant procedures.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
