Constantinos Loizou of EMBIO Diagnostics named Technology Business Leader of the Year

EMBIO Diagnostics is proud to announce that its CEO, Constantinos Loizou, has been awarded the prestigious “Leading Businessman Award” in the field of technology at the 7th annual “Young Entrepreneurship Awards” ((«Γε’ νέο Επιχειρείν»), hosted by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KEVE) and the magazine “Thessaloniki’s Dromena”. This award celebrates Mr Loizou’s leadership and EMBIO’s significant contributions to innovation and technology in Cyprus.

The event, held on October 9, 2024, recognized exceptional young entrepreneurs whose groundbreaking work has significantly impacted their respective industries. Mr. Loizou’s recognition as a tech sector leader inspires current and future entrepreneurs.

In her address, Ms. Savia Orphanidou, representing the President of the House of Representatives, emphasized the critical role youth entrepreneurship plays in the development and economic progress of Cyprus. “The entrepreneurial resilience of our young Cypriots and their achievements are a source of pride for the entire country,” she said.

KEVE’s President, Mr. Stavros Stavrou, also stressed the importance of supporting young entrepreneurs in his opening remarks: “The future belongs to the younger generation. It is our duty to prepare them and provide them with the necessary tools to thrive, adapt to the modern world, and contribute to the prosperity of our country.
